Westin Glass holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of New Mexico. He is a licensed architect in the State of California, and a licensed general contractor in the State of Oregon. He has over 12 years experience in the field of design and construction, including high-end custom residential, institutional, educational, hospitality, and food service projects.
Ever since learning about the building industry in architecture school, Westin has known he had a passion for smart urban infill and adaptive reuse--increasing density, maximizing existing resources, and conserving energy and open space in our fragile world. To this end, he knew his goal was to be a developer--the role with the most potential to realize innovative visions and new models, for those willing to take big risks.
After spending several years recording and touring full-time in his parallel career as a professional musician, Westin returned to the world of building and entered Guerrilla’s orbit as an independent design/build contractor, performing build-outs of two of Guerrilla’s restaurant tenants.
A longtime admirer of the work and vision of Guerrilla Development, in late 2016 Westin enthusiastically took a position within the company. In his role as Project Manager, Westin oversees the construction of new projects, coordinating architects, consultants, contractors, and tenants, shepherding the project from schematic design through permitting, construction, close-out, and tenant build-outs and move-ins. He also handles capital improvements to existing buildings in Guerrilla’s portfolio.
